Description
The Guildhall in Winchester in Hampshire, England has a rich history that dates back to its construction in 1873. The original building was designed to accommodate various civic functions. The building's exterior features statues depicting both Winchester's legendary and real history, including King Arthur's establishment of the Order of the Round Table and William the Conqueror compiling the Doomsday, Book. The frontage is the most ornate part of the building's exterior, built out of stone, while the rest was constructed out of brick with little to no exterior decoration.
