The Queen came to the throne on February 6, 1952, and her coronation took place on June 2, 1953. She celebrated her Silver Jubilee in 1977 (25 years on the throne) and her Golden Jubilee in 2002 (50 years on the throne). The Diamond Jubilee marks her 60 years on the throne.
