Owned by The National Trust these Shetland Ponies are free to roam and graze on the heathland long the cliffs of Cornwall, England. They are wild, hardy ponies ideally suited to grazing these areas. Their grazing helps manage these important heathland habitats, keeping the more vigorous plants in check and creating a good mix of bare ground, close cropped areas and taller bushes. .
