Description
The Duke's Bath House, along the Beaulieu River near Buckler's Hard in Hampshire, England.
Built 1760 by Duke of Montagu for his son who suffered with arthritis. There was a tidal pool in the garden where the he could bathe as salt water was considered beneficial for arthritis. The red shutters and frames signify it belongs to the Montagu estate.
